Who We Support

Elderly and vulnerable adults, Children with disabilities, People with physical disabilities, Learning Disabilities, Autism, Complex Health and Social Care Needs, Mental Health support needs, Life Limiting conditions, Dementia, End of Life support needs, people who are lonely or socially isolated or need domestic or practical support.

Practical Support

Domestic duties including Cleaning / Ironing, Shopping, Meal preparation including assisting people to gain/regain cooking skills, Laundry assistance, assisting people to manage their personal budgets including bill payments, accompanying people to appointments such as hospital, GP, chiropodist, dental, hairdressers etc.

Personal Support

Washing / Bathing / Showering, Dressing / Undressing, Dental Care, Hair / Personal Grooming, Continence Management including assistance with incontinence pads and catheters, Stoma / Colostomy Management, Prompting / Administering of Medication, Application / removal of prescribed Support Stockings, Transfers including use of prescribed Movement & Handling equipment including Hoists/Stand Aids/Rotundas, Maintenance / monitoring of food / fluid intake, Management/monitoring of Pressure Areas.

Specialist Services

People with such complex health and social care needs include those with Cancer, Cerebral Palsy, Dementia, Head Injury, Heart Disease, Huntington’s Disease, Kidney Disease, M E (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson’s Disease, Renal Failure, Spinal Injury, Stroke.

Peace of Mind

We always have experienced staff on hand to offer support, guidance and to manage emergency situations as and when they arise. Our Customers and their families can contact us 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, by telephone, and one of our experienced Duty or On-Call Officers will be there to offer any support or advice they may need.

Emergency Cover

Depending on the circumstances, Mobile Care Services Ltd can step in at short notice to provide emergency cover until the crisis has passed. We will respond quickly and efficiently to your needs, providing the same level of excellence that all our customers can expect.

Accessing the Community

Mobile Care Services Ltd believe that it is important for people to have the opportunity to be as active and involved in their community as they would like to. This could be anything from cooking at home for oneself or one’s family members, doing some gardening, going out for a walk, going shopping or attending regular clubs or social events.

Funding Your Support Services

Assistance from Local Authority Social Services Funding, Using Direct Payments to employ your own staff, Self-Managed Direct Payments to purchase support from a Domiciliary Provider, Provider Managed Accounts – Direct Payments, Individual Service Budgets, Continuing Health Care Funding, Private Funding

At the time of our inspection, over 300 people received a regulated activity of personal care as part of their support, including people living with health conditions and, or, frailty due to older age. Other services were provided at the time of inspection, including cleaning and shopping visits, which we do not regulate.
